Errr 748?
Try doing a tracert, it seems there's a problem with a connection somewhere because noone should ping that much. Where do you live?

The hardware issue shouldn't affect ping, there could be another reason why your ping went from 80-90 to 140-150 on the current server.

any suggestions?

I dunno, it could be your ISP, your connection or maybe most likely, a node somewhere.
#11

doubt it nothing has changed over here, and my speedtest is always near the same range duno what it could be
#12

Speedtests usually test with the nearest server though. You should try doing a speedtest to somewhere close to the current server in Netherlands and to the new one in Sweden.

But as I said, it could be a number of things and it will be hard to pinpoint the problem.
