So since we're trying to get out of Beta soon I was thinking if the spam could be changed back to what it used to be?

I know maka changed it himself, but there are tons of people (besides tech, scare and myself) that feel the spam should be changed back to what it used to be.

I am calling on all supporters to please post their opinion here and hopefully the staff can review this and make a verdict.

P.S: When I am talking about spam I am talking about the pvp spam.

It would also be nice to be able to filter out all Words of Power. I remember before the nerf, you could be standing at the bank, then suddenly someone would leave the pits and your journal would fly up at like 10 lines a second of .wop spam.

yeah I agree it really changed my PvP style considering i use to use spam to hide my spells =/ and people never tryed the pvp anyways and its not like words caused lag I would really like to see this back please please please

I`m agree with Eru! But i think that will more helpful if we`ll can filter out all .wop commands ONLY! Not the real spells casts.

Like i said in past you dont come in tour area to have a chat and look at your journal it's a fighting place and why do people stand in towns to look at there journal if they're standing next to the person? I don't think the staff can create such a command because it would just hide all spam and can be used in tours which spam would be useless all together thats why they kept .BF

A command to only turn off .wop commands would be the same as not having any .wop command and you could always see what the person's casting.

And yes, I agree that the duel arena isn't a place for chatting, but the problem is those .wop macros spill over into other areas, particularly brit bank and the pits.

It might become possible in the future that you can turn all wop off except for the one you are dueling with. So spectators could decide not to see any wop at all while your opponent does.
If people would like such thing, it would still only work in events and not in the real world. So wop spam at brit bank will still exist.

thats the thing you need to set it so that the command doesnt work when your dueling or everyone will see what your casting lol, also people in ventrilo can kinda tell ppl too what people are casting thats why im so against this idea

Pits is a place to get to another location like a town a tour or a duel arena sure it can be used for chat but how many people do you see spamming there tbh, people rather talk trash then spam words imo

Britan and other towns, well the spam would only probablly happen during gank times and we wouldnt be standing still because who do you know that trys to survive by standing still

Well, it is just an idea that needs to be worked out. At the new server it is possible to see if you are in an event or not (script-wise that is). So as spectator you would get the option to completely disable wop, including the real spell, or to enable it all. That way their journal won't get filled and they don't see the real spell so can't tell it on ventrilo either.

Since it is harder to see if your ganking in ocllo, or just having a nice chat. It won't be possible to disable it there.

but i don't understand it doesn't even spam that much :p personally people didn't like it because it was a part of the pvp and they never gave it a chance =/

either way i hope this gets reenabled this really messed me up on my pvp style

Also I have a question could it be at night that the server runs faster then usual? because during the day i had 200-250 ping and at night time it dropped to 90 ping less than what i normally have (150) but still not less than what i originally had when i started playing here (75-70)

Maybe cause at night we got less players, and also the network trafic is less.

IMO you should blame your provider for the ping change, or maybe it's something between you and server, but not the server itself. It has very fast connection, and my ping never change. It only increases at weekends because everyone from my LAN uses internet.
Usually when I ping the server I just lose the packets, when server is lagging really badly I can lose packet every 7-10seconds, sometimes even 3-4packets in row. However, my MS is always same...
