Please post the logs of where you asked if i was afk at any time when i was mining, because i wasn't after i had been jailed and you know or else you would've jailed me again because it's a rule LIKE YOU SAID.

you guys do this stuff because you can't be bothered to find anything else to fix in the shard that's why there hasnt been any updates in the last 3-4 weeks and when there are there minor like name changes. Now Wow that's a big accomplishment renaming an item in 4 weeks. You guys are stalling for a new server yet your messing with players who are ACTUALLY STILL AROUND, well guess what your making it very hard for them to want TO ACTUALLY BE AROUND STILL.

i'm done trying to explain my self unless your actually at my house to see that were actually not bypassing the gump system you'll never be happy at all.

Read my message and reply please because i know when you say you two your not talking in regards to me shade stated that he would keep an eye on who was dying because of the gumps and he was going to handle that part he never said anything about taking the macro away wich you did. I think that there should be an alternate punishment for afk resource gathering instead of punishing the whole shard just punish offenders now i have mined there alot and i may have died a couple times but never do to afk mining and i have seen tech and luda in there and everytime i would speak to them they would speak back so. well that is a whole different story you know who is afk and who isnt but i dont think you should disable the macro and punish everyone who makes their living off ingots just punish offenders who die from the gumps and are obviously afk mining or resource gathering in general please man take this into consideration read my message from earlier im sure i made some good points in there

There are two ways I can think of getting a gump when you're dead;

1) Because you already have a gump up, the timer expires and in that 3 minutes you kept mining and another gump was issued so it appears when the first one disappears (when you died).

2) You already have a gump up and a staff issues another gump on you, which only appears after you answer the first one or once you die from the first one. I don't know if staff can check if you already have a gump up or if they can only issue one when you don't have one up...



To be honest I'm glad SOMETHING was done about that EUO macro. Most of the people using it didn't even spend 2 minutes to make it. Cannaris gave it all to you so be happy you could use it for as long as you could and be happy he shared because I know if some of you guys using it had of made it you would have only given it to your friends, not the whole shard!!!

That macro was too automatic; it mined, it smelted ingots for you, and it banked ingots for you. All you had to do was watch for gumps. If Maka were here he probably would have done something about it too because he would have seen there are 3 players doing most of the mining yet there's over 100k ingots for sale. That's not helping the economy by making items so abundant nobody even wants to buy it!! If Maka didn't do something to stop that macro he probably would have limited Minoc mine to only the low ores, or add a skill or age check so it's used as intended; for newbs, or he'd get rid of the guards and the bank there.

Smoke you complain that if you go somewhere else it won't bank for you and now you'll have to recall around and bank yourself... Back on XUO there were no banks outside any mines so what's the big issue now? You had it easy for 2 months and now can't go back to how you did it for the 5 years before that??

My Razor macros are nowhere close to this automatic and they work so nobody can say you can't mine. Just spend 10 minutes making your own macro with Razor or injection and you will be able to mine once again, in your nice safe little Minoc mine with a bank 10 tiles away!



Yes, UO is a 10 year old game but that doesn't mean you should be able to put in 0 effort and get all the benefits or that something should be given to you on a silver platter. Do you think in another 5-6 years Blizzard will give everyone who plays WOW a level 80 character with the best gear in the game? Hell no!

dl are you kidding me? do you know anything about uo? or did you not pay attention at all during your times when staffing at xuo, THE REASON MAKA MADE A GUMP WAS BECAUSE THERE WAS A BETTER AND SIMPLER MACRO that me jason amin and richie used that did the same thing except there was no gump. THATS WHY HE ADDED IT. watching it and mining there is no harm done

second of all the hell are you talking about 2 months? the macro only came out june 3rd and i had no intention at all of gming mining up until late june 27th around. the last 5 years i used an easyuo macro to gain my shit too so before you know what anything your talking about keep your mouth shut rofl. ask steven amin and everyone they used the same one and maka was the shard owner and scripter of that too and he said as long as your watching your character mine there is no problem.

i can't believe this macro was removed it seems all the hardass people who never used this macro before just disliked it because they had to use a simple macro back in the day to aquire there ingots and raise there skills.
it's amazing how things change when people get rich on this shard

Yes exactly, Maka saw there was a problem so he took measures to correct it. INX staff see there's a problem so they're taking measures to correct it. Why's it so bad for it to be done this time, because it's not an XUO staff that did it? Maka added the gump to stop uber afk miners like elleb, not the guy who leaves his macro going for 2 minutes when they go to take a piss or get a drink. I know because I was staff on XUO and saw conversations you didn't (staff forums, msn conversations, etc). I followed elleb around a few times and messaged maka to come see that he's afk mining (which was illegal on XUO even before the AFK macro gump - it was just the responsibility of staff to catch people) and we'd talk to him and he wouldn't say anything. This happened on numerous occasions and each time we increased the punishment; jail a few hours or a day on the first offense, delete ores on him and jail a few hours or a day on the second offense, on the third offense we checked his bank and he had like 50k ingots in a really really short amount of game time so we wiped it. I think I even warned elleb over msn a few times to watchout because soon his bank would get wiped.

You should be happy there's an Anti AFK Macro gump now or else from the sounds of it your bank would have been wiped several times.

Do you think I follow everyone around keeping track of exactly what they do? Don't flatter yourself! 2 months was an estimate, and it looks like it was a good one if the macro got posted June 2nd and it's now August 14. So counting since June 27th to today you've been using the macro for 49 days (oh shit isn't 2 months like 60 days, I'm not too far off with my estimate)! Anyways you just help my point; you've been using this uber macro for LESS then 2 months and you're saying you can't go back to what you were doing for how many years? You said it yourself; you were using another EUO macro. Did you try that one? Did you try making your own macro? You said to me a few times on MSN that you make awesome macros in injection. You tell Luda what it should do and he writes it. Did you try making an Injection macro with him? Did you try making a simple Razor macro? I doubt it, you just wait for something good to be handed to you and then complain when it's gone. My macros still work and if you ever bothered to ask me for them I'd give them to you. I can guarantee you I wouldn't give them to you in the first 30 seconds after you ask since I'm not home most of the day, but first chance I get, yea I'd give them to you and I'd take the time to tell you how to set it up.

I have nothing against this macro or people who used it and got rich in the mean time. Good for you. You had the time to do it, I didn't. I'm not going to take that away from you. Why I can't believe you're complaining is because not every 3rd party tool has been blocked so it's not like you have to double click your pickaxe and target the ground yourself!!!


You see smoke, I was staff on 2 XUO's and INX. I have the privilege of seeing the other side of things and keeping this in mind. I don't think of the best way for me alone to profit, I try to keep the shard as a whole in mind while forming my opinion. If you tried the same thing now and then you'd see that the staff disabling this one macro isn't such a bad thing. Don't turn around and say I'm against this just because it helps you or because I hate you or some sh*t like that. if you notice one day I'll be arguing non stop with you or anyone on these forums on one suggestion and the next day I say I agree with something else they say. I'm objective about things, I don't agree/disagree with something based on who says it.

Because it's supposed to be a mine for noobs. I think the staff picked this mine for noobs because on INR it was the same place and they probably used this as the noob mine since they didn't have a pits to give you a pad to a mine somewhere in the middle of the world so they used a mine close to a town.
