is anybody else noticing this huge lag or is it just me? lately,ive been trying to log in and it takes like 2 minutes to log on, and it just freezes for like 2 minutes and then gets connection lost. some better days its playable, but on 800> ping. can anybody point in the right direction here or tell me wat to do? i see some people joinin tourneys when i cant even do one single step without getting connection lost, but everybody else says its laggy. im sure my internet connection is as good as it can be, same as my UO and my comp.
please? any comments?

same thing happens to me, i think theres something wrong with our ISP since we both live in the same country
This happens to me to last week i was at 662 ping about now im at 721 its like the shard is getting more laggy every week its just not fun or playable anymore =/

However, the problem tiesto mentioned is not caused by xs4all or the server. Pings that high is your own connection / isp. I checked with tiesto already and his connection got a high ping from his own isp, not when it crossed the ocean.
Yes, a new server is coming. The question is still when. The people at xs4all are very busy and don't know when they are able to get to the datacenter yet. I will receive a mail a week before they will go.
Once the server is upgraded, it will only solve lagspikes. It won't get your normal ping lower (at least not more than 10 - 20ms). So if you have a ping of 200, you will likely keep that ping. But if everything is alright, the lagspikes and stuff should be solved.
When I know when the server gets replaced. I will let you all know as well of course.

im not talkin about high ping, cuz ive always had a kinda high ping. but Lately as i said, its just impossible to log on and go one step forward without it freezing completely and losing conn in 5 minutes. its not about my ISP cuz its been alright all the time, even tho its not a super speed connection, its always been decent enough to play any online game.
but Taran said that he will be gettin a new server soon, thats a relief.
Hope this gets fixed once and for all :icon_twisted:

Ya, im from the same country and i experience the same problem. Its IMPOSSIBLE to play..

one thing ive noticed is that ping my ping rises up to 3000 even 4000 in those moments, When i get to see its results. but now i know that it gets better late at night, or very early in the morning, anything after that, its NO UO FOR ME.
