This is a very good example of how ppl are deciding to leave the shard. The playerbase now doesnt reach the 200´s. If we dont do somethin, we will go down!

I just still don't understand why people are being so selfish and childish. You have too high of standards, most kids do now for games, or things in general. It's a great game and you are going to die, and you're going to get knocked down, but that's what makes it fun, getting back to the top or near top. People like different things about the game, I understand, but it's just rediculous, the reasons that some of the people that are leaving have (not to say it's you as well exactly Sombrax)...

Anywho, I'll be here til the shard goes down, if it does - not trying to be modest or a suck up or anything, I'm just saying I love the server a lot; always will love IN

If people would just stay and try to wait/help until it gets better instead of leaving we wouldnt have this problem of player base decrease, but i guess its way easier to leave the shard instead of helping. Just keep in mind that this is a free shard, the admins, developers, gms, counselors are using their free time to build this shard up and they all have real lifes like us..also keep in mind that we are still in BETA so that means not everything is fixed but is being fixed atm..

I really doubt that the reason that Sombrax is leaving has anything at all to do with "the shard" itself though. What I do believe is that he somehow either got backstabbed, thinks the skillgain is too slow, lost some items, or that he believes that he was being treated the wrong way by an staffmember. That is what causes players like Sombrax to leave, not that all the scripts aren't all completely developed yet.

Sombrax, please feel free to fill us in on why you are leaving, because I would really like to know.

On a related note. You people need to realize that some people are looking for something else. There are so many variations of UO out there that this is common and should not be complained about. People should not have to force a shard upon themselves and pray that one day they will like it. Try to keep in mind that no shard is meant for everyone.

I do not know why he is leaving but if it was because he is not into this specific game play then it is no big deal. Don't give him any crap for making a decision, he did so in a proper manner. I was glad to see that his post was not complaining about anything and we should all be able to say goodbye without any other unneeded comments.

well i know Sombrax and i guess the main reason for him leaving its the lack of activity on the PK towns. 23 out of 24 hours a day occlo and serps are empty, the shard its almost 2 months old already and almost everyone its still macroing and that doesnt "click" with the "Xuo Players" idea of UO, and its making many of them either quiting or playing one day a month. eg: Juanin, now Sombrax and almost surely me and my mate camaron. The shard has become boring and i cant see the way to change that.
