It's nice that some monsters drop regs. But 1-5 regs per? That's almost not worth the effort to drag the mouse. Since players always use regs to hunt + use on pots + on scrolls + on healing + on buffs, it makes sense that a little more should be dropped. Some players who are red don't have easy access to mage shops, and being able to go hunt and resupply your reg stock would be nice. After all it's just one regeant per kill, or 25% of a gh spell :/

Maybe up the drop to like 15-20 per? The gold drop is already low and this would only be another 60-80 gp worth of value. Not such a big deal considering the monsters who drop regs are casters, which are 10x as hard to kill as non casters.

Sounds good to me, although I'd have to say 15-20 seems a bit much maybe 1-10? or 1-15...15-20 just seems like alot, really who would need to buy regs if that many were dropped.

Well considering only one reg drops at a time it is not much. 15-20 might be a little high, but it should be more than what it is now, definitely. Just make it worth it to drag the mouse, ya know? Dread lords drop lots of gems that are worth like 30-50 each, while a pile of 2 regs is worth 8 gold :eek:

I'd say make them drop more regs, but fewer times. Then it would be worth the drag and it wouldn't mess up the economy.

Some mobs drop 15 of each reg. Again, you just need to look.

What I'm more concerned with is the loot templates for tough mobs. Me, Hell and allantois killed a drag and it had (i think) 700gp, 2 scrolls (low level) and I think gems. Deamon, that was harder then the drag, had 600gp, 1 scroll and some junk. I'm not saying make the loot templates uber, but make it somewhat profitable for adventures (and those that prefer pvm).

Hunting is already really profitable if you know what to hunt. Galanthil always talks about how he can make 20-25k in an hour hunting dragons. That is pretty damn good I think.

dam 25k? Is that dragons? I cant even touch those c*nts. But I make about 10k per hour hunting certain choice locations. But I dont hunt for regs. I hunt to afford regs. Theres plenty of mobs in 4 or 5 locations I've found that drop at least 10 of each reg if not more. As someone has said, theres plenty there if you look for them.

The problem with this is that, not everyone can kill dragons. And don't say, it's easy blah blah blah. Some newer players might not have the skills or know-how about killing drags. What I'm talking about is making more mobs have better loot. This way, not everyone is camping destard or other drag spots. Have deamons drop something nice, phoenixs (if they're here) and etc. Plus maybe have medium, to somewhat easier mobs drop a bit more for those newer players. Iron AR costs a ton of money, and it's difficult to get the money when each mob drops 10-30gp a piece.

Summary: Don't make templates uber, but make more monsters profitable to hunt other then just deamons and dragons.

check ice island if u want regs, some monsters there drop bags of all the regs 15 each.. Hehe
