Yeh you have so many keys cos your dirty i think people are just worried about a guild box that people can take what they want, even if they dont contribute, which is why i think it should be limited/micromanaged, so guild economy/finances/itemns can be monitored rather than it all sitting in the guildmasters bank or something and necessary items can be distributed if needed without worry of people constantly accessing it and losing/using items. yeh i know the making chests and giving keys to everyone would suck but it'd allow storing of items you want to keep for yourself without the idea of a personal bank box in a guildhouse.

guilds have houses and thats the same thing as a house bank if you are living in that house.. so back to the other thread the awnser is no for me?

the only thing i have against guild box where everyone can access is that its gonna cause alot of grief... if someone decides to leave the guild like a newb or even a vet they will definitly be tempted to take everything from it. People will join guilds just to steal off each other etc...

i personally dont see why guild banks like on INR cant be used... it worked fine and it doesnt detract from socialising with other people we all still need to go to town to pvp/get supplies?

i think the another argument against guild banks is itll stop looting of hqs. But hqs will still have heaps of communal stuff lying around... if guild boxes get bought in all the communal stuff will go in it leaving less loot. Whereas with individual banks all it will be used for is mainly transferring stuff out of it into the hq.

Anyway either way it is against the rules to loot guildhouses, normal houses however are free range.

I guess if Taran or any of the others want to implement guild banks, if not we do it the way we have been doin it, takes longer and can be a hassle but it can still be done

You guys have actually convinced me that a lack of house banks is ok. Yeah, it will take some getting used to, but the reasoning is justified.

But I do still think that guild bank boxes should be there. If nothing else, I definately support the idea of a weight limit on the items. That way you can store all your valuables and stuff youd want easy access to (PvP / Hunting supplies, etc), and then store all your other supplies either in your guild house or your own house (like ingots, crafting supplies, etc).

Really, I would NEVER want to see any kind of way of accessing a bank from a house, but if it were to be implemented it should be done in a way where PvP still would improved. That's why I made the suggestion about guild bank for large guilds. But I do not like the idea about guild bank / house bank etc etc at all.

About bringing ingots from the bank to your house, is it really that difficult to drop off your ingots at your house instead of your bank every time you mine? Sounds like the same to me.

I really dont see what is so bad about having bank access in a guild house.

It helps guilds to stay together. Gives them a place where they can suit up for battle, meet before hunting sessions or just a place to hang out where you dont get pickpocketed or attacked by enemies every 10 secs.

The houses of the larger or most active guilds will become centers of activity for fighting and trading. People will be there all the time and that will draw fights and excitement to many places in the world. Not just brit bridge/bank and occlo.

I honestly cant understand whats supposed to be bad about spreading out the guilds and giving us all more places to visit.

The only argument ive seen against this is that people wont be sitting at brit bank as much. Well not everyone likes that. Its the least RP area in the entire world(cept maybe occlo) and i find no enjoyment what so ever at being there.
