I do not agree with the cons of this skill gain feature. The repition to me is perfectly set, for the moment. There are over 120 people playing IN. THink if half of those people gmed anything in less than a month (BS, MINING, CARP, TAIL, etc.) there would be absolutely no reason to play anymore. I wouldn't because there would be no real economy. If you raising the output of gold to people, you have to raise the input to buy things. If what now costs (ex 1mil for castle) you would have to raise it to at least 4 mil to go with the balance of the economy. Grow up, play the shard and make your money.

Skillgains still need some tweak...
You can raise 0.00 to 50.0 in a couple of minutes in any skills.

The economy is already ruined, anyway.

After next restart the skillgain should be harder from 0-50

Why would the economy be ruined?

The only reason they "deserved" anything was because that is what they were promised. They didn't do anything more than most other people have, other than be in the right place at the right time to be part of that offer.

1) I agree that it is a little unbalanced. Getting FS ganked on the first day is a bit lame. But, it isn't bad, and nothing needs to be changed.

2) Skillgain / loot is fine like it is. No offense, and I must clarify that I am typicaly not one to judge, but some of you strike me as those who find a new game, master it, and drop it within a couple months for a new one. UO is unlike most games in that it is meant to be played for basically as long as the shard is open. The easier it is to master, the faster people will get bored with it.

3) There is SOOO much more to this game than who can get the highest skill. Hell, Ive been playing quite a bit the last few days, without macroing once, and Ive been having lots of fun. I dont see why you cant go try to do new things during the day, and then macro when you are AWAY. You could do all sorts of things like resource gather, you could run around the HUGE world hunting, you could go find people to kill, etc etc.


I think the staff is doing a great job, and has done tons to keep it interesting for everyone from first-timers to masters. However, no matter how much stuff they put out there, it is up to the players to actually find it. If you think h4rdc0re PvP is the only way to play UO, then I think, unfortunately, you are missing alot that this game (and especially this shard) has to offer!

I dunno, i used 5000 logs making clubs and gained nothing. That's 1250 clubs. It takes me 5 hours to chop that many logs and then a good chunk of time to make clubs (1.5-2 hours). I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky or if something is wrong. But if thats the desired gain rate, it still needs tweaking. It'll take me weeks to gain the last 2.1%. If i'm spending 7 hours and getting 0 gains.

Selling Forges and Anvils, 15k Each, 25k for both.
Selling Looms and Spinning Wheels, 15k Each, 25k for both.

I agree with us needing a skill tweak. I spent an hour and a half sparring and healing and only got .1 heal, fishing I spent 3 hours and got 1.3 and im only at 60!!! I want to make money but I spend all my time I can play macroing.

Do you think that the people have time for macroing all day? I think that no.

-----> My account is 2 days old,and all time i was macroing stleath....48+hours macroing stleath for have 80.2....OMG.

In 48 hours played in another shard/Game...You can make something.

I want remenber that this shard doesnt is only Imagination....Is too XUO ( PVP SHARD ) and i want remenber that me and too many people that played in XUO we havent our accounts imported...and too many people yes! You think that now the pvp/pve/trade/sell is balanced?

I think that no. Skill gain is TOO SLOWLY. I think that the shard a name change "Imagine Nation"

im agree
3*24hours on macro and gain only evaluate intel to GM and anatomy to 77
its very very slow
its most dificult shard in my 7years expirience in uo
its not fun shard!

What is the gain rate for the craftskills?????

ooooMG im scary to think about it :badgrin:
craft must be craft and hard gain such is combats skiils now, but without fast gain for combats skills not funny and shard will die cause now many shards with fast skillgains

Incorrect. This shard will never die dammit!
Everyone wants quick skills but nobody thinks ahead as what it will do to the shard.
