Ev´s are wey to weak. It takes like 3-4 evs to kill a dragon.

Brit gy shod have a rez point.
it sucks to be a pk and be stuck there.

Im gm meditation and it takes like 4min to get full mana.that shod be faster.

The whole point of under powering anything is to creat competition, challenge, adventure. Anyone who can cast an EV and can kill a dragon with one summon, thats pretty easy. Too easy. I remember EV taking 3-4 hits to kill me when I had medium str armor on. It is that way for a reason, to prevent unfair pk, unfair economic gain. Think of it this way. I won the lottery 7 times because I had an advantage.(EV one hit kill) You would be pissed off because I have tons of gold or tons of items and you don't. Its unfair. Now, considering I had won the lottery 1 out of 23987429834782374 times because of an EV that didn't kill in one hit, thats fair, its balanced. The lottery works the same way, so does Government economic structure in every country.(Except America for obvious reasons 9trillion in debt and rising)

It is even more unfair for players who can gm all combat skills really fast and earn mega gold, than crafters who have to mine, lumberhack, fish, etc and then craft the items until GM skill to make mega gold. That is very unfair. Get over it!

EV's seem fine to me. Havent been dragon hunting yet but in any case using 4 spells to earn 600 gold doesnt sound bad to me. If its because of speed then shoot at the dragon with a bow while the EV is hitting it. Or use aids on the EV when its hurt.

If doing it 1 way doesnt seem good enough then try some others too. Or make your own ideas and use those. Theres plenty of choices and things to try in UO.

I agree, there are plenty of options for killing dragons. Hell, Ev him to death, and wall his ass from you. Thats easy enough too, or para field him, poison him, curse him, para and firefield with ev and wall. Plenty of options. And to you about the comment of me being a noob over the EV deal.

Its not the fact that you will kill it no matter what, it is the fact of time. You should not be able to kill a dragon so fast that you only need a single ev.
I killed a few drakes yesterday by ev'ing them and thought it was a perfect balance. This way the shard is not flooded with gold in a matter of one month.

guys, please understand that on xuo was VERY profitable. right now we don't even have our xtreme monsters so please understand the frustration of former xuo players. to give you an idea: xtreme dragon dropped 5k-8k. to drop down to 600gp is a very big cut for us. and an xtreme dragon took maybe 1-2 ev's and they are 5x harder and stronger then a normal monster.

balancing pvm will take a bit of time to satisfy both communities. obviously neither side will be entirely happy because xuo will want their 5k drags, and inr will say its too much and the server will get flooded with gold.

lets go like this for a few days or weeks and then adjust it if its still an issue.

What did crafted items cost on xtreme ? i mean with those drops evryone would have millions of GP's.
Well only satisfaction for the x players, you will get alot longer with less gold now, since the prices players charge for items will be way lower than on your old server.
