Harry Potter blows!
Most fantasy books are not good examples of written art anyway (yes, even JRR Tolkien). BUT this is, of course, my opinion.

After you guys read João Guimarães Rosa's stuff you'll forget everything elseSmile

Yea! Bert books for the win! That's problably the only book(s) I've ever read. Big letters, short and easyread so that even a 6 year old could read it.

Reading books is the same thing as cleaning your room for example. The hard part is to start, but as soon as you started to do it, it goes by itself and sometimes you even enjoy it. Kinda the same thing with waking up in the mornings too. It's so unbelivable hard to get up from the bed, but as soon you've taken the step to acctually do it, you're almost not even tired anymore.

I've started to read a lot of books, and often I've got the same thing running in my thoughts; "How come I've never read books before!?", but I haven't finished any books (except the bert books), mostly because of the reason I mentioned above, or because I get restless.

Yepp that's my story! Interesting, isn't it?

I actually think that The Black Magician trilogy by Trudi Canavan is very well written:p

i don't know about that.. "as soon you've taken the step to acctually do it" well for me the first step is setting the alarm clock Smile and that just pisses me off when i hear it. and even when i hit the button to stop the beeping im still tired. some days im still tired 2 hours later when im sitting in class lol.

but yea.. books are good Smile i haven't read any books that are like series lately. ive been looking at some history type ones such as: the secret of solomon's temple revealed, the knights templar revealed, sacred sites of the knights tempar. those are 3 cool books referring to stuff in the middle ages and even earlier.

I like the wheel of time also, I just think Sword of Truth is better. Also if anyone ever finds the Cold Fire trilogy pick it up, great read!

Sword of Truth book 11 is coming out which i think is going to be the last one. Wheel of Time is a great series, but if you want a gritty adult oriented fantasy kick ass saga, then Sword of Truth all the way.

I'm just crazy about powerful, almost uncontrollable magic, in the hands of a person that might just ruin the world:p

Is it a book about time travelling? If so then I'd probably like it, I usually like those types of books / tv-shows / movies. :]

So far the best book I've read is "Evil", a Swedish book by "Jan Gullou". a.k.a. Ondskan in Swedish. But I don't really read that much books so I guess I wouldn't know what the top books ever written are. However that's my fav book so far ~_^
