By that, do you mean you can run around with nothing but a robe and reg bag, and effectively fight against people with armor and weapons? That's how it was on those other shards. Nobody used any armor or weapons, and to do so would simple be a waste of time against any decent mage. Please don't tell me that's what I have to look forward to .

Bows...elven bows are lethal in mass combat. They are fast and make decent damage, if you are somewhat lucky with an elven bow it has about the same damage output as an FS and you barely have to stand still to shoot with it. Ganking is normally a naked "sport", cause you die often enough that it would be very expensive using armor all the time, and frankly, it's a ***** to suit up. If you fight a group of naked guys though, suiting up in a decent armor (>= plate) and using a bow will work in your advantage.

Non ganking combat will most likely be done in good armors and good weapons, as it will happed while you are hunting or something similar.

Tournaments...well, theres nothing to say about that Everyone suits up in their best gear and fight for the win. There IS a chance that someone really really good(dumidum xddddd) can beat a less experienced guy naked vs armor if he has a decent weapon, but there might be like 1-2 people that can do that on the server, and they will not always succeed.

Most combat WILL be armor combat, most definitely, but ganking I'd say be done naked 50%+ of the time.

Oh well of course that is understandable (ible?). I just dont want to see people consistantly PvPing successfully with nothing but a reg bag (I don't really think of ganking as "PvP").

I just remember being really disappointed seeing people kill Dread Lords and dragons in 30 seconds with 100 Mana worth of energy bolts. Or noting that the only "PvP" I ever saw was people running around casting back and forth with spells, with no armor or weapons ever being used by anyone except newb hunters with not enough magery skill to do it the "cool" way.

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]Do not worry =), in 1v1 pvp gear is absolutely needed. but im pretty sure you will sometime see a group of some spanish* players run around nude and cast spells :/, reflect scroll run and recall =) and if they have a bad timing you can easy run around corners gheal spell yourself out of the mess even mayb without using a gheal potion, and if they use to many xuo fs on you you might even have time to throw a light back at them and "voila" you killed one of them =), the trick now is to have the skill to loot them while being flamed =)
