Ok keep trying without a 3rd party program.

What client are you using? use 2.0.0 since that's what he recommends you to use for this version. He gave you a link to the client in his first post, take a look if you haven't downloaded it already.

Let me know if it worked, if not I'll help u further.

I haven't really tried this server yet myself so I dunno. I'm at my girlfriends house and I'll be here until thursday, so I'll try to guide you people over the forum until then.
