Errors trying to Log in
#1

Hey, I used to play NOS, XUO and pretty much all other NOS copies a while back but decided to quit. I have now come back to find a new download / version of the game which I downloaded from the link provided by the website. I followed all the steps and patched. Then I reach the client load, and whether I use razor, injection, normal client or whatever, I get one of two errors -
1) Stuck at "Verifying Account"
or
2) Some problem with "Origin" or something.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. Thanks.

If you get stuck at verifying account

1) make sure your firewall isn't blocking
2) make sure you haven't patched your client too high.
3) if running Vista, run Client.exe in XP compatibility mode.

If you "can't connect to Origin"

1) make sure your firewall isn't blocking
2) make sure you haven't created an account already
3) make sure you use the correct login.cfg if you aren't using razor to connect

a great post by Arjanichus,
i would like to point out that he wrote hve not patched your client to high. and not your uo to high =). feel free to patch your uo but the client should not be patched to high.

if you get can't connect to Origin
i should say the most common problem is that you already haev created an account with your ip if thats teh case email Taran about this nad he can reset/remove that account.

this is also a way to make it all work (have worked for alotof players)

**wrote by valas**
1. Install Mondains Legacy
2. DO NOT UPDATE
3. Copy all the IN-X files into your Mondains Legacy folder.
4. login to the game, it should work now
5. now try updating, it should only patch once to a 5.x.x client and that's all you need (Easy UO doesn't work on the 4.x.x clients)

You don't have to update at all if you're not using Easy UO at all. Not sure if you need to update for injection or anything.
