Just recently tried to start playing UO again. Can't say I enjoyed it much. Seems that I am stuck in IN1 mode.
Shitey ores. (miss my blood and blackrock)
Shitey mounts. (no stang economy what-so-ever)
Shitey weps. (HF or HH > pathetic viking sword of vanq)
Shitey minoc mine. (no guards)
Shitey misc. (double clicking vendors to buy things??, no shrink pots)

Basically, every shard I've tried the past 2 weeks has driven me up the wall. My favourite so far has been on the Defiance Shard. There's a stone at Brit bank. I thought maybe it's a travel stone or a vending stone of sorts. Double clicked it quite a few times.... nothing happens. Then I realised that all my gold was gone. Yes. It was a smegging gambling stone. So what, they are so OSI realistic that they can't have comfy seats at brit bank but they CAN have a retarded gambling stone?
Anyway, I miss IN1 like a hole in the head.
So from what I've read, this shard is shaping up to be pretty awesome if I'm getting the right idea. Sphere clone? All the happiness mechanics from IN1?
Anyway, full support from this old IN1 player, will also get my flatmate and a few others to play aswell hopefully.
