Hi,
I was just curious how long it took you guys to raise your skill. I went through 30k of wood last night, and I didn't go up much at all.

Carp is a *****. When I GMd Inscription I was at 92 Carpentry and I started making blanks at about 65 Carpentry. I think I used like 30-40kk boards to get to 65.

This is why one of my starting skills was Carpentry. I wanted to be past the club-making stage.
You have to make clubs to 65, which takes 3 logs each, then it's blank scrolls which is 1 log 1 spider's silk. Much easier.
I dunno how many it takes to GM though since I haven't GM'd it and have stopped playing my player toon.

I don't remember what I made, but I feel like it took 100k to 150k logs or something like that.
