Hi!

I know that you all do your best to host and entertain the players, while still letting them "enjoy themselves" as well. But right now people don't really enjoy themselves, they macro and when they see a tourney they join it, most players barely even seem to hunt.

So for people like me whose already pretty much done macroing it's very boring. I now macro skills that I normally wouldn't even macro just to "spend my time" when there's nothing to do.

I have noticed that during the days when I stay up at night until like 3 AM a lot of stuff seem to happen, Eru and Redemption logs on and hosts quests and tourneys, but it's not often I can be around that late.

I assume that a big reason why all the tourneys are being hosted at that time is because of your timezone and the fact that you simply aren't around at your computer until then, but we "need" tourneys earlier as well, it gets way too boring otherwise.

So a suggestion is that you hire some staffmembers from a different timezone as well, for example from Tarans timezone, he seem to be around when I'm around, but he's focusing on other stuff than tourneys (which is understandable).

Shade is also always around, probably because that man never sleeps, but he focuses on other stuff than tourneys as well so we need more staffmembers.

I'm pretty sure the answer will be that it's hard to find staffmember who aren't corrupt and whom you can trust, and I understand that, but fact remains, we need somebody on during all these hours when nothing at all is happening at the shard.

I'm sure that with a few modifications to the counselor commands u'll be able to make them pretty harmless either way, so it shouldn't really be that dangerous to hire somebody new.

I'm not suggesting that you hire the whole shard as counselors now tho, just like 1-2 new ones for another timezones, that's all that's needed really, if they are active then that's great, if not then they aren't suited to be staffmembers here at Imagine Nation either way, and then u'll have to replace them, simple as that. No harm done, they'll know when you hire them that they have to be active and professional.

I have tried to host in the past at random times of the night and day and noone shows up or maybe 1 or 2. We have plenty of staff atm IMO. The problem is there isnt enough active people throughout the day since Majority of people are westerns I think.

I'd say host an event anyway, it could just be a FFA tourney with a crap prize, but if u start hosting stuff during the other timezones players may actually bother to stay at their computer at not just macro 24/7 because they "know" that nothing happens at those times.

I'm guessing u have some prize table of how many players that has to join a tourney for u to actually "host it", but I'd recommend u add another option to that table "less than 4 players = small small prize that still makes people join".

Think about it, hosting a tourney for 4 players takes very little of your time, the players who are actually active will be very happy, plus you'll stop hearing me b!tch about no tourneys during the other timezones It's a win-win!

Ziggy this has never been discussed in the past and your the first to bring it up. If more people who are in your time zone come forward and speak up then we will work at hosting at different times. But if most people are afk cause there asleep because there westerns like I said we would be wasting time trying to host when only you show up and maybe 1 more. Like I said I have tried and 1 or 2 people show up its kinda pointless. If you want more action join a faction there is plenty of people out there that are willing to fight.

GM Hope decided to host a tourney today at my timezone. 10 players or more joined, which is probably more than the amount that joins during the other timezone, so I'd say that proves that we have players who want to play and join events at this timezone as well.

Looking forward to more events in the future (no, not just for me, for the whole shard, and no, not just by you Israfil, I know that you work monday - friday and that you can't host a lot, I understand that, but we need staffmembers to host at this timezone so hire some who can if you don't already have somebody who can do it)

I always think about the shard and how to make it grow, and how to make players happy, so you don't have to worry about me just thinking about myself, that's not at all how I think. (and for those of you who dunno what I'm talking about I replied to Israfils statement in the chatbox)

We don't want players to rely on staff to make fun for them(pretty sure Shade will agree with me on this). There is many other ways to have fun and to fight. When you say tourney you make it seem you want pvp. If events you are talking about there has been plenty of random stuff going on(monster bashes, treasure hunts, tourney, etc.) The thing that I have noticed myself is there isn't enough faction guilds in the world and not enough fighting. The resources are there but it seems people are to afraid to die to someone.(which I don't understand). I apologize I was confused on what your time zone is it is afternoon here and I was thinking you were talking about late night early morning for us. The thing is you seem to expect some event everyday when it cant happen. Events IMO are more for the weekends(since most people don't work or have school) so there can be more of a bigger crowd. I myself have been pretty busy with work(70+ hour work weeks) so I haven't been able to host like I would like. Once my schedule at work slows down I plan to host a weekly tourney for a bigger prize then any other tourney that happens for the week. You have to understand we don't need staff to host events. We need you and the other players to come together and do what you have to to make the shard more fun. If any player would like to host a player hosted event I'm sure that any staff wouldn't mind helping control the event if they paged. If people would join factions there would be more fighting inside of Brit which would promote more people to fight also. Its not based just on staff here it is a shard effort and it is kinda a downer to see people post countless things wrong. Cause if I was a new player I wouldn't want to play here if I saw all the complaints that have been recently posted. Yea you have freedom to say what you want but make one post that people can discuss and not 10 different ones that revert all back to the same thing that has been discussed before or is a similar one then another topic you have posted.

I want stuff from staffmembers which are hard to get "in the world".

For example players don't tend to fight 1vs1 much in the world, they prefer to gank in big groups to get a faster kill, so if you want some fun 1vs1 duels a tourney is a nice thing to have, plus it encourages PvP because players can test it out in a safe environment, and after that hopefully start duelling more in the world as well.

I also want quests because the quests out "in the world" just isn't the same as the monster bashes and stuff that the staffmembers create, they are far from it. Make world quests like the monster bashes with nickles as loot and I promise you that I will be doing some of those as well.

I also want 2vs2 tourneys and death by dice and pretty much anything that is fun, things that we don't get much of in the IN-world. I don't want it often but I want at least two tourneys (or quests) every day during my wake hours, not just for me but for the shard, because if I am so bored that I am thinking about if it's worth playing here every day a lot of other players probably think the same thing, I'm not saying that it is all up to you to fix it, but I really think that a minimum of two tourneys for every day I'm awake wouldn't be too much to ask for. (And once again I'm not talking about YOU, I'm talking about any staffmember, if only two staffmembers out of all the staffmembers you have would host one tourney each that would be enough).

And don't get me wrong, I like the "faction wars" and stuff too, and I would be very happy if more people aligned themselves in a none neutral way so that they could get ganked more.

I disagree about that we have a lot of monster bashes, quests or anything else like that. We barely have any during my timezone actually, and that's what I'm hoping that will change.

New players may "think" that nothing is happening at the shard during my timezone when reading my post, but guess what? that's how it is, so they just get the right impression. If this would change there would be no need for my posts and everybody would be happy. I'd probably end the post by saying "this issue is solved so delete my thread" if it is something that might scare players away.

My posts don't all relate back to the same thing, but what I pretty much care about is the PvP, the quests and the lag, so yes they are probably all about those things.

If "hosting events" would be something that you all decided to do only at weekends then that would be fine, it wouldn't be a good thing, but it would be fine. What isn't fine is that the other timezone has a lot of fun events and my timezone barely has any. Fact is that my timezone actually seem to have MORE active players than the other timezone, because todays monster bash has way more joiners than the night-bashes have, and yet we barely get any events.

I don't want to "flame", and I'm sorry if it sounds that way, I'm just trying to help the shard.
