[Eighty Swords]

There's so much arguing and insulting going on between players that it pollutes every thread!

We should add another section called "I Hate You, You Don't Love Me" so people can insult one another all they want there and keep it out of the other threads so we can actually try to get some ideas out there without having to read through 10,000 flames for every 1 contributing post.

This has been suggested in the past a few times. I think the reason it never came to be is because it basically promotes flaming. At this point we are tolerable to it but don't want to see the only posting going on involve flaming.

Although in the last couple days the forums have had an attitude shift I don't think we need to add a section for flaming. I mean we do have an off topic section and what better place to flame people. Yet there aren't any posts like that in there and it just goes to show you, if there was such a section you'd still see just as many noncontributing posts everywhere else.

Well thats how I see it anyways.

yeahhh man we had one back on xuo called the flaming forum, we were allowed to swear make fun of them etc as long as we weren't racsit to the players

Hmm... I like the idea of just setting post count to 628 (or 1250) after a few short weeks of spamming every forum section .

Who gives a shit about post count? It doesn't prove anything... doesn't mean you're good at pvp or that you know UO... just that you are on the forums a lot... who gives a ****. The point is to get some flaming out of the other sections so other topics stay on topic. It's as simple an idea as a-b-c, 1-2-3.

In case you missed it, it the throne thing was a sarcastic comment, as I'm sure your last comment was . Like I said post count doesn't mean shit, what matters is what you bring to the forums (ie constructive posts, getting ideas out there, discussing ideas to try and satisfy the most amount of people possible, bringing up potential flaws, etc). If to help get this accomplished means a post count boost from having a lot of flame posts that's a small sacrifice. That's all i was getting at. After all, it's not like you get an ingame reward for lots of posts :eek:
