3RD Party programs
#1

I know there is not a rule on using 3rd party programs like easy uo and injection. But I was wondering how many of you "pvpers" have to rely on using them to fight. Its funny to hear ppl brag about "skill" when it comes to pvp but its really just a program that aids them to the fullest.

ps. I dont add razor to the list just because it doesnt have the impact that the other programs do.

Razor its just the same. If you dont know how to use the others just learn how to use them instead of posting this

Edit: "why you use ferrari? I just have a Ford ! Stupid ferraris!!"

Its not the fact of knowing how to use either one or the other. You cant tell me that injection and easy uo are the easy way out compared to just razor.

In the end razor does the same thing even if injection is faster, If you want to use another program expand your education further and learn how to use it. You think it's all peaches to script on injection have your macros/trainning skills GM'd? You should give it a try.

It just looks like the easy way out to me. I still do a lot of the old click and go style from back in the day. It gives it the real "UO" feel from so long ago. My point on starting this thread was just to mix the pot and see how many pvper have to use both programs to pvp. Since im sure if they stuck with razor or any other way they would fall flat on their face since they cant hit a easy button.

But it's the same thing lol, you hit a button for razor your hit a button for injection, Just every time you perform an action with razor there's a 1-1.5 que delay like I've said. So what you're trying to argue makes no sense because they do the same thing.. Also if you're expecting people to PvP by double clicking everything especially in a shard that un-equips your weapon every time you cast a spell or bandage then good luck with that man.. It's 20 years this game has been out it's obviously going to evolve some bit since it came out.

Edit: Just looks like a troll post directed at me really because I brought up UOAM in the casino discussion.

I started PvP this way and was recognized by pvpers in my early stages on UO playing corefailure and such when I used to kill people 1on1 without any programs and they used 3rd party progs. I didn't know how to use those programs and used to double clicking everything and the biggest macro i had was ingame UO was last object last target. It was on corefailure that I was taught how to use them.

But those days are gone now, with the availability of third party programs. UO just evolved ...

Kander injection is much more powerful than razor, and there are advantages to using it in PvP, but like smoke said they do exactly the same thing. If you try to play without a launcher then you really can't even put up a fight.

I liked UOAssist, I like how it increased the pace of PvP, but I've never really liked the level of automation you can get with other newer programs. Nevertheless, they appear here to stay, it's probably better to learn how to use them than to get upset about it.

Using a 3rd party program is 100% needed to be a good PVPer. Thats all there is to say Smile

Give it a shot. Tongue If you open the Patcher and go to Tools > Install Injection, it sets it up for you with all the recommended settings in the Injection folder in your UO install. Just run ilaunch.exe to start. I *think* I have some sample macros added to it... not sure. But try it out and compare the speed difference between it and Razor. Tongue It's very minor, but noticable. Like using a mechanical keyboard instead of a bubble-dome keyboard; it's hard to imagine the difference until you see it.
