EUO help
#1

I am having a similar problem to other people I have read about. I have 2 computers and both of which are patched to the same up to date patch. I try to use EUO on 1 computer and it works great, the next it wont recognize the pickaxe. It says starting mining macro, Target cannot be found and then the macro stops. I have no other macros running. The only diffiernce from the 2 installs is where i got each mondain's client from. They both are on windows ultimate and both are patched to the same patch, which is the latest patch. Iv tried running them as administrator and compatibility mode with windows xp service pack 2 and both of those dont fix the problem. I have also tried mining manually before i start the macro and that doesnt work either. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Had the same problem. I haven't done nothing to my UO and all of the sudden all the macros for EUO work for some reason. Wish I could help but I have no idea. Hopefully someone else has the answer, and if not hopefully they will work with time like mine did.

I know you said it works on 1 pc and not the other but here's something worth trying...

It might have to do with where you're standing in the mine... for example if I stand just inside the entrance to the minoc mine and run my Razor macro it works no problems. If I go in the added area my macro won't work and I get the message target can't be found.

The way my macro is set up is to target the tile I'm standing on and because the extra area at the bottom part of the mine is originally black tile, Razor sees that tile as black so it won't mine there. If I mine manually instead of using my macro it works.

You can try using the Easy UO debugging features to step through the macro. I think it's the F7-8 buttons. This way you can go line by line to see when you get the 'target can't be found warning'.

I get that msg no matter where I stand in the mine. Can you explain the debugging mode a little more please?

I'm by far no easy UO expert, but I think the concept is everytime you press one of the F6-F8 keys it executes one line at a time. For example if you make an EUO macro that says "Hello", waits 3 seconds then says "How are you?", the first time you press F8 it would only 'play' the first line of the macro (where you say "Hello"). If you press F8 again it would 'play' the 10 second delay, and if you press it one more time it would 'play' the "How are you?" part.

I think Canaris would be able to give more of an explanation. He seems to be our resident EUO expert Smile
