I meant TAMING skill sorry lol, is kinda slow and hard, even worse when you macro on a stang up to a certain percentage, then any other stang you tame right away...

Does anyone know the min skill for taming a Young Nightmare?

anyways.. my suggestion is similar to the place in the old moon glow bank for macroing Meditation...

which its free and easy.. only draw back is if your willing you spend the time macroing it..

so how about something similar for taming?

Maybe an Untamable mount, hidden somewhere...

not so easily given away like the meditation location..


Just an idea.

Or maybe theres already a trick for macroing taming..

Anyways maybe that would make things to easy who knows lol.

GM Taming is needed, though you could potentially tame it at less. *Very* unlikely though.

As for giving out free taming skill with an untamable mount, we won't be doing that. There are already some very hard-to-tame mounts out there (Dappled Dream Mare for example) that require more than 100.0 taming skill to raise, so you have to macro on them for a while to tame them.

The best way to raise it is to just keep taming mounts over and over. You can buy some with less than 5 tamers to release and re-tame them, or hunt for them yourself. Or even just tame normal monsters/critters for skillups.

Taming is fun tho, when you can actually tame it, but seems like a real pain of a skill to gain..

I heard if you buy an animal. and then double click it. its your right..
so your saying if you do that, then all release, you can retame it up to 5 times?

Cause in point, i have a young nightmare in my house. and a buddy tamed it for me, then transfered it to me..

Well i never rode it, so it disowned me in a day lol.
I managed to try taming it with like 70ish skill, after wearing its hits down, but it wouldnt remember me...

So im guessing it only REMEMBER's you, if you actually tame it personally?

I can buy a ride... double click it. release it.. tame it.. then release then tame it and it will remember the first attempt? and continually redo that process lol.
