I got about 10 maps and i finally macroed cartography up to about 70 so i was able to double click each map and Decode it or open it or whatever.
now it just opens a little window with a cheap looking map of some random location with a dot on it.

Iv never done treasure hunting before on any shard, not sure how it works.
but how the hell am i supposed to find where this DOT is? There's no works or towns or anything distinct like that to make it easy to find?
Do i gotta Study each map, and then look at an entire map of UO off google or something and try and match em up like that or what? i tried with one but its almost nearly impossible lol.
unless there's an easier way i have no idea?..

do i even need a treasuremap then?
can i just use that link you provided and use that as a references and just go to each location and dig with a shovel? and or do i need the actual treasure map in my back pack for it to work?

you need the treasure map.. how you dig it up you need tobe on top of the treasure chest basically (1 block away) and dig up the treasure by using a shovel on the map and then the ground.
