Not miles or so just a few more tiles perhaps since atleast i have a problem to loot monsters at sea from my boat, and no i cant sail more closely either and Telekinesis doesent work.

I know we discussed a few issues regarding this in the past but I guess other things have distracted us. If you are having trouble looting a single corpse with no others around that isn't really anything we plan on helping with because they are able to be looted though it can be tricky until you get the hang of it.
Though one thing I wouldn't mind adding is an item that removes sea creature corpses so that boats dont get stuck. Something that would either chop them up or make them sink might be a nice add. Not sure how the other staff would feel about such an item but since it would only work on seafaring creatures it shouldn't be a problem.
The reasons I don't like the idea of extending the range of loot is because it would remove a little more risk in game, make it less realistic, and may unbalance certain area of hunting.

Yea im fine with making seacreatures sink. Should only be able to use it on empty seacreatures thou

Yea, I think making sea creatures sink would be helpful. Say, once there aren't any items on the corpse, put a 5 second timer or something short like that.

If something dies in deep water it will sink shortly after the last item is looted.
