I have UO Renaissance on a cd and I can't play without a cd. I remember having to transfer some files from the cd to the hard drive in order to make it run cd-free but I can't seem to remember which ones. Any help?

Is it because you are not installing the game on max? When you run setup it asks you if u want to install the game max. or min. settings. The latter will require you to play with the CD as it does not install all the required files however the former will let you play without a CD. I used to have renaissance back in the days of tus48e and sphere and I was never asked to insert a CD so I have no idea if such cracks exist.

I think n0x be right Not entirely sure you can play with Renaissance though...You can if you can patch it.

Renaissance updates to ML like any other . I did install it on max too and it still asks me for a cd. I'll google it.

i used to play with renissance on nos/xuo. i always took full install and it never ever asked for cd to play :E

well i've downloaded versions of SE and AOS, which is the content of the CD as if you would buy it. then i'd install to the same directory that i have the contents of the cd and i don't need a disc. maybe that would do it...

And yes its fully legal to download uo from the internet since EA made it legal
