Website and forums are back up now, sorry for the delay.
There are still some minor issues here and there, but overall it should be ok.

We had to use an old backup as well so the latest posts here on forums are gone.

Basically we had to switch hosts again because when I left work, I lost my old free hosting and bought some cheap hosting. That host had all kinds of problems as it was run by one guy; then another site that was using WordPress got haxxed so we had to shut off the website. I now have free hosting through work again, so the site's good to go, plus it's on a different account than all other websites I host, so it should be safer. Big Grin

I was considering putting up a test-server at home to play with and maybe make some how-to videos for the XML Spawners/Quest system. I would have to have better internets first and Google Fiber is being blocked from coming to Austin because of stupid AT&T trying to have a big dick contest with them. They're saying Google can't use their poles to run cable or something; unless Google becomes a certified Telecommunications company, then AT&T has to let them by law.

The main thing is they know that their Internet customers are going to all disappear as soon as Google gets here, so they bought themselves another year of subscription fees.

Damn.. It always amazed me how you yanks who practically invented the internet can't get a decent connection speed for individuals(or natural persons...? Not sure how to spell it in english, but I mean the internet for non commercial needs, when the contract with ISP is signed by a person and not by organization).
I can barely remember any of my american mates(even tho I have plenty) having anything faster than 50mbit, or at least fiber at home.

Even here 155/155mbit up/down costs around 15$ monthly, and available in most of the towns... Odd xd

Yeah, inventing the internet also means that when it was made, we were using crappy old copper wires. So, the ISPs built on that wire network and now it's easier to just fight against competition and try to make laws against Net Neutrality than to spend the money to actually put in a good Internet infrastructure. :<

Yeah, I have 20mbit down and 2 Mbit up and it's $60 a month. If I wanted to get 5 Mbit UP (the absolute maximum I can get in this town), it'd be another $25 or more per month. It's ridiculous. :/

ya i have pretty bad internet in my area...supposedly i pay for 15 mb down 1? up for 60 a month. im lucky to actaully get 2 mb down when i actaully download something..its pretty bad and i don't see it ever getting better
