When you lock you're own boat, even if you have the key on you, you can't use the boat unless you unlock it

basically you can't use the plank to get on/off the boat while it's locked, even if you have the key on your character

Yeah you have to unlock it like a chest, dclick key then target the boat.

yea obviously, but it's supposed to be open-able while locked if you have a key, the same as a house door

This works as intended. And we were not bribed by any pirates or boat thieves...
