I think the deadly posion pot all posions for that matter should last longer you posion a weap with deadly posion and you are only able to posion 1-3 eneimes and with the fail rate on deadlys 50/50 and costing 2k or so for 2 pots... is it really worth it?

I agree, i have used a few, but gave up... its no worth it!
I'd rather use poison spell, very strong, cheaper and costs little mana...
Maybe the poison is like it is for pvp only...

Let me explain something to you guys. You should feel LUCKY that poisons last for multiple hits. Where I come from, poisons of all types must be re-applied after EVERY hit. Then again, a poison hit breaks reflect on that server.
Poison potions are so far from worthless. Let's start with deadly. It lasts for about 10 hits. That's a lot... Deadly ticks for ~10 hp. You get deadly on someone if they don't have a chance to cure it they can theoretically take 100 DOT. That wins duels.
Greater poison ticks for a little bit less damage, but it SEEMS to last much longer on the weapon. You can't fail these at gm alch...
blah blah blah...
Lesser poison seems to last a very, very long time on the weapon. It also still does enough DOT to win a duel....

If poisons were buffed at all they would be overpowered in my opinion.

I miss the 1162 hued "Venomous Bows" that were on old XUO. Tongue They applied a normal poison every time you hit something with it and was the preferred method of taking down really high-level dragons. Black Widow does something like that, but it's a small chance, then the poison only lasts like 10 seconds. :/

Er, did I say dragons? Mistake. I meant... um... dragonflies. Pesky things were all over the place. You'd try to say "Go away dragonflies" and one would fly in your mouth.

deadly does not last for 10 hits with me.,. maybe in pvp it does but i see what you mean and raziel you are right might as well use posion spell.

Yeah for PvM I just use poison spell, and 10 might be a little high for deadly but it's definitely 5-10.

well i have tried deadly and it lasts 3 hits...
dont know about the others...
But i think habibi is right... as i said, maybe the way the poison is because of pvp, to keep it balanced...
