I personally don't have anything against it and Diablo III is even adding it into gameplay.
I'm not sure about the legality of this either since farming stuff on a non-UO server for profit could get to be a problem. Right now we just get donations to keep the server going, but if EA were to see this and think that we (or others) are making a profit off of their intellectual property, that may give them lawsuit ammunition, assuming that we're even on their Radar.
