it keeps giving me a not responding error when im at the connecting screen and it crashes and doesn't respond any ideas?

Our DNS hosting have problems with DDoS attacks, I switched to one of their backup DNS registrar servers and it should work now.
You can always login with 90.231.130.131 if login.in-x.org doesn't work.
