I just got checked three times in 30 minutes or so, with two of the checks within a couple minutes of each other! Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but I have trouble reading the captcha, and I missed it three times on the last try!
No idea what caused me to get checked three times, but maybe a tad much?

Some words are really hard to read, thats why I just change till I get an easy one.
And the Anti Macro Gump is rando, you can get a fell in some minutes, or dont get one for hours.

When you record a macro in Razor for something like double clicking a pickaxe and targeting the ground I've noticed that 3 'wait for target' lines are added. Years ago I remember seeing only 1 'wait for target' line added on other servers I played, so maybe these 3 'wait for target' lines are a part of the anti-afk-macro check so you can try taking out two of them.
I don't know if the 3 'wait for target' lines are a part of the anti-afk-macro check or if it's just the new way Razor operates so I don't guarantee this will save you from ever being checked.
Like Ryuuku said though, the check is entirely random so you probably just had a bit of bad luck getting it a few times in a short period. Also, staff can send you the check if they think you're afk. You gotta remember they don't know if you've gotten the check lately or not. Personally I don't think 3 times in 30 minutes is so bad...

Follow up question: In the FAQ, it says all AFK macroing is legal except resource gathering. Today I left myself at the Minoc bank macroing hiding and stealth while I was eating, came back to being dead. I have to admit, I'm not much of a PvPer, so could someone have killed me at the bank? Or did the macro check kill me?
There was no macro check or message on the screen at the time, and I couldn't scroll the journal back enough.

No. Anti-macro gump only comes when gathering resources (mining, fishing, lumberjacking, gathering cotton or cutting wool from sheep).

The macro check can only be issued when you use a tool like a hatchet, pick axe etc. Unless you were somehow using one of these in your macro to train hiding, someone probably killed you to annoy you. It's unfortunate but it does happen
You can add a line to your macro saying guards every few seconds or go to the merchant camp in the south-east (bottom of your screen) corner in pits. I believe you can train hiding here, it's guarded (like minoc bank) and since there are other players macroing here they're probably calling guards every few seconds so the guards might come in time to save you.

Hmmm, odd, another person lying dead at the Minoc bank....and it looked like he didn't expect to die either, he had a vanq hammer on him.....guess I'll have to pay more attention.

Even if you spam guards each second, people can still kill you.
2 Chars with enough skill to cast a Fs with full damage can kill you, both cast toghter and you dead.
The worse place to macro is by bank, alot people passing by there, go to a town that is not common and macro at an building (still guarded and with NPC) far from bank.

Yea another problem with macroing at Minoc and Brit banks is people can go on 2-3 alts and just FS with a buddy, cut you, and log on another alt to come loot... and the banks are right by the pits rune and pits rune exit points.
