I think it must be!
It is almost impossible to buy something there without some guys who want to kill you indoor!
I`m going to buy my own vendor but i think it`ll impossible to stock my goods to vendor because of PK.
I suggest to make safezone there, just in building where vendors at.

I think they changed it cause people was using vendors as safe bank on pits, so they moved them to an unguarded area.
Anyway I like it being safe too, now its far from anything have no reason to use vendors as bank at the place it is now.

no having it in a safezone means u can recall in there take ur tour gear and recall out.
being unguarded means most people won't use it as a bank. also why dont u just recall right to ur vendor and stock him up? u see someone approach u leave simple.

Just disable recall inside building and add a door like cassino door.
If you se someone picking the tour gear you wait he at door and kill he, simple.
Same as if he was at a bank in world
But I would like mark enabled inside and you being able to recall to inside it, but like I said before no recall out.

For some reason, a few of you still don't seem to know that there are 4 vendor buildings in East Britain. When you teleport to East Britain from the pits you can read some of the street signs for directions. They were spread for just this reason.
Not to mention, you can put your vendor at your house or a static that you own/coown. So really you have a few options here. Obviously the prime locations are going to be a bit more traveled but that risk is the price you pay for high traffic.

Use the vendor as bank? That for nonsense!
Now it became too dangerous and inconvenient even is simple for purchase something!
I think staff should make that buildings more safety!

By the way, PKs just hide there (in vendor male buldings) and waiting for us for kill!
It is a good way for an easy money!

people were doing this putting there tour gear in the vendor mall so ppl couldnt lose it
learn to defend you self instead of always hiding in safe zone its simple press a button to heal......

You do know about these skills called tracking and detect hidden right? Most people hide inside the buildings so its simple to mark a rune outside of the building, at least a few tiles from the door and track. With GM detect and tracking you will know if someone is in there waiting or not.
Being lazy is no excuse for needing safety.

Is there any vendor mall areas in guarded areas? i think that would be nice then its simply a choice of the seller as to who they wish to be able to sell to and maybe there are some who don't wish to sell to red pks anyways(although they could easily make alts and just buy with them :/) Just a thought.
