Skillgain on this server is like an old man having a wank. ****ING SLOW OR NON EXISTANT WITH NO REAL OUTCOME TO WIPE ON HIS OLD LADYS FACE. seriously ive been macroing eval int for well over 24hours and its not even 90 yet.... give the few players who wanto start here a bit of a break huh? If eval int (a formerly useless skill but now it seems you need to know how smart someone is to hurt them) takes this long to GM there is no chance i will ever attempt a trade skill, which is really quite sad and causes the economy to stagnate, as the rich and established get richer, and the poor stay poor. GIVE US A BREAK!!! You want players to have fun playing your server? Or do you just want lots of Idle people macroing....?

thanks for proving my point like i posted in the inx dead thread, this game is to old for it's old skill gain and too hard to get stuff

Skillgain - imported_LudaKrishna - 07-02-2009

and we have another one who thinks skillgain is hard.

don't listen to us though, we obviously don't know what we're talking about.

Then youre obviously doing something wrong, i GMed eval in less then 12 hours!
But i do agree, skillgain could be slightly easyer

DOING SOMETHING WRONG??? USE EVAL INT, TARGET SELF OR TARGET NPC..... VOILA!!! praytell seeing as its repetition based and this is the quickest way to repeat using eval int HOW THE **** AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?

Well I dont saw your macro so I dont know how you doing it or if you puting delay, but if it have no delay so just : use skill, wait for target, last target.

Wait a second... I posted saying to SLIGHTLY increase Xtreme armor drop rate and you say I whine and b*tch about every little thing then you turn around the next day and say items are too hard to get. WTH? Please someone else tell me you noticed that...

They are saying you need to use a delay because some skills you can only use once every so many seconds. Like with Peacemaking or provocation there are large delays of 10 seconds or more. I just tried out evaluating intelligence really quickly and you can't use a macro that does this:

Useskill - eval int
target self
repeat

You have to add a 1-2 second delay like this:

Useskill - eval int
target self
pause 1 second
repeat

Did you notice how when you don't have a delay you get a message saying something like 'you must wait to perform another action'. That means you need to add a delay. And if you get this message and use a program like Razor, Razor will get stuck for 15 seconds to 5 minutes waiting to time out and start over. That might be why you are taking so much time to do evaluating intelligence.

Just because it says You need to wait to perform another action doesnt mean its not going to try again the very next millisecond... Make a macro for hiding and hold the button down... it SPAMS YOU NEED TO WAIT and does it as soon as it possibly can.... I really ****ing wonder if you guys macro'd at all...

Skillgain - imported_Reyn - 07-03-2009

and for the record my macro goes like this
Use Eval Int
Wait for Targ
Absolute Targ
Pause 1.30sec

and it non stop spams the eval int in extremely quick succesion.
