Treasure Hunter questions - Fear - 06-03-2011
Hello, i got shitloads of maps now and want to explore the joy of treasure hunting.
I decoded my first Plainly drawn map today, got -> #138 http://uo.stratics.com/thb/info/maparchive/images/archivemap138.jpg <- but i cannot dig up the treasure at that exact location (stratics says you don't need mining to dig up a treasure).
What am i doing wrong / right?
EDIT: SORRY, IM A RETARD, DIDN'T KNOW I HAD TO MINE THE MAP BEFORE THE GROUND!

Some notes for people who read this:
1) Double-click a shovel (mining-pick may not work)
2) Target the map
3) Target the ground at your feet
If it says there's no treasure, try moving around a bit more.

monsters are the only place i've found them. they are rare. dragons and demons seem to be your best bet for maps. unfortunately they do not drop off ogre lords, which is a damned shame.
