Just trying to log on, see if my lag is reduced. I'm stuck at verifying..odd..any hints as to why? Reinstalled twice, client change..all the normal things.

From what I can see you're using an encrypted client, you need to use Razor or Injection to connect.
Also, I moved this to Technical forums

Haha, thanks. I installed razor just now, but it glitched out..which in the UO world means re-install. I'm gonna try re-installing it one more time to see if it helps.

How was razor behaving? If you just want to connect, you can use the injection client, or get a client and decrypt it yourself (UoRice).

Razor was fine, it just seems to be the client..and the map1.mul file. It keeps saying it isn't found, or isn't updated. So, then razor would shut down.

I think this is an issue with updates, but I'm not sure. Getting a friend to send it to you would help, but you can also copy map0 and rename it to map1. You'll also need to do the same thing with the corresponding index files.

Uninstall UO, restart the PC, reinstall UO DO NOT PATCH, add in the files (all except the client on the website) then run razor and you should be fine. I had the same problem today. :p

Thanks guys. I got it to work. I patched it to 6.0.1.6 I believe and it worked fine. Seems to be the magic number for me...that was before adding any files.;/
