He's either Galanthil, Messiah, he buys them from money earned hunting, or he slaughters every miner he finds.

he does mine. I use to smith all his armour from the start of the shard. Also killed him once and he dropped like 10 runes to different mines renamed to ores.

i know how , mining is bugged at the moment, i am at 96 mining and i can get a blackrock or black diamond in 10 mins (100) so if he is gm he can get a saphire and adamantium really easy. I reported the bug =)
