Another Adventure with Galen - Galens - 12-16-2007

I cannot stress enough how important it is to leave keys on keyrings to new players. This is a prime example, and a real example at that.

I was near Minoc Mines, checking on miners just to see what they were up to. I saw ___ there, who I did not know his intent was to kill me. I let him kill me eventually, I didn't even fight him hardly.. Well, I lied there, I did shoot him and nearly kill him with just an Elven bow... Such a knob. But anyways. Eventually I let him kill me, I didn't even fight back, the items I had with me were almost broke, and the regs were a dime a dozen anyways. But I had then remembered I left all my keys off my keyring to my houses. So I panicked. Luckily, ____ was a shinny knob and opened a gate to my house, where their intent was to loot it dry. Now, I didn't care much at first, but then I remembered I had over 20k just in regs in a chest inside. Not including all my logs, scrolls, deco items, bandies, etc. So I hurried through the portal. Therer they were, just sitting there. I then took it upon myself to change the locks while they were playing pocket pool with themselves. They didn't know until they killed me and tried to open my front door ^_^

This is a prime example of why you should NEVER carry a house rune with you and NEVER leave your keys off the keyring.

Galens.

Galens.

Yeah. Calling some of the players slow in the head for basically looting an easy kill that is dumb enough to mark a rune to their house and leave their keys off their key ring is a scenario we refer to as "kettle and pot" name-calling.

This self-serving drivel is no worse than the crap Silverwolf or Smoke throws out at people in their teenage angst.

I understand the need to post why you shouldn't leave those items unattributed to the key ring, but dear Galen, calling people slow because they might be away from keyboard, talking, or just not caring that much??

Tisk.

You're right smurtle, it was childish of me to do that. I will go edit that.

But I am no where near as bad as silverwolf and scarecrow. ^_^

I hate it when people try to make themselves look better by comparing them self to someone "worse" then them. And wow your pretty dumb but lucky Tongue

Dude, I'm no better than anyone else in this world. Don't manipulate my comments. This is for pure entertainment. Thats all.

No one is. They have their moments though and they're not as bad as everyone thinks.

Thanks for amicably discussing/talking it out. See, if we can do it, can't everyone? Big Grin

I didn't manipulate it at all, you clearly wrote it.

"But I am no where near as bad as silverwolf and scarecrow. ^_^"

Your just trying to make yourself look good in situations where you did wrong. Just pisses me off so much because i work with this kid who does it with everything, "Well at least im not a bad/dumb/weak/gay/ect as so and so.
Ive grown to hate it. thats all Smile

Technically I DIDN'T say I was better than those two. I only said I wasn't as bad as them. I never stated " I'm not as bad as those two, I'm better!" SO technically, I am still correct. Without reference to what I truely am compared to another person, the only logical answer would be "average"

Before you search and compare something by it's opposite, you must pass through the middle ground or "average" of things.

I am an average person.

Why did you "let him" kill you? Can't you admit that you were bested in the fight? I notice you always seem to have some strange excuse other than "I was murdered" when you die.

Oh and dont get me wrong. I could be taken down in a heartbeat, as I havent touched PvP here, as it is so strange to me, but man, admit when you get (I really hate this word) owned.
