Is there anything the people that lag hardcore are going to find a resolve? Most of my guild has stopped playing until the lag is fixed, and the ones who haven't cannot PVP so we are just seen sitting around town macroing. I don't know what it is, I even tried from 2 of my friends machines on different ISP's and we all get the same ping [300+] sometimes my ping jumps to 400 or even 500ms. The game is almost unplayable to me and is definately unplayable to a few of my friends.

I agree with him. Then it doesn't help with the world saves in between all the lagging. I am not *****ing, I am just simply saying it is getting harder and harder to play the game. I hope there can be a resolve Smile you guys worked to hard to let it end in a laggy shard.

We can't have more control over the actually NET ping, but the ingame ping is a little slower cause we are running the serer in debug mode. It takes a lot more resources and slows down normal activities.

Try the ping after the reboot, if it might be any better.

Mine has gone from standable to worse as of late. I used to be able to pvp with pretty much no problem but now i'm getting bad lag spikes.

My ping as well as most of my friends pings have been horrible from day one, and the thing that is odd is that other people do not lag, so its not too many people online or anything, and also on your XUO, on same server, I did not lag hard at all, I could hunt without my EV chasing me down and raping me cause I can't walk more then 3 tiles per second, and I could attempt to learn the PVP...here I cannot do anything, even my FS making macro has huge pauses in it, because if it doesn't, when I hit lag I will fail the scroll.

Right now my ping is:
Minimum = 318ms, Maximum = 389ms, Average = 365ms

Sometimes it hits 400, even 500. I would be happy with 150, or 200, at least I could hunt then. :[

Yeah, If the lag isn't fixed I'm sure many people will leave. It's impossible to PvP efficiently in lag like this. Why not buy a new server that is faster etc. Eventually people will get sick of barely being able to walk and just leave altogether. I know several of my friends wont even log on because of the lag.

Yeah lag is terrible.. why are we running in debug mode if its lagging us?

This lag issue - maka - 11-10-2007

To increase the speed that we can fix crucial bugs when they come up. This will not be present when we go out of beta, if we do not put in a huge new system.

This lag issue - imported_Light - 11-10-2007

We're still in beta and there's a boatload of bugs to be fixed. I imagine debug mode helps the staff track them down.

Just change the host...relocate server to the US and that'll give everyone decent connection. It sure was running smoothly on IN1. This is ridiculous, its not just a few people, theres a majority that are concerned and affected but this lag :confused:

I mean my pings to like Holland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands averages around 100-160ms when I ping other servers in that area, but to INX its constantly horrible, I am moving to a new house in like 6 days and I hope I have better ping but I don't think this is affecting only a minority I think it might even be like 25% of us.
