I know this is beta, and I know things can't be rushed but many people are having trouble ( including myself ) playing the game due to the host. I understand that its free and I think thats great. But every IN server in the past has always been fast most of the time never gave me or anyone I know too much trouble. So I guess my real question is if anything is going to change about the host? I really feel that if it doesn't change we will lose a large number of players because all we can really do is craft.

The server is located in sweden right? then I dont see why youre having problems since I live in Canada and my ping is really good, arround 100 avg.. Can you afford something better than 56k?

in that thread it says only pings greater then 200 yet this is my tracert and i cant run w/o skipping like mad.

Yea I have that too..even if my ping is like 150 I get stuck and can't move, like even when nothing is around me I'll run and go slow. Sometimes I can't run faster on a horse then my buddy on foot...I've tried different clients and a bunch of other stuff...dunno whats up :[

I don't know hardly anything about ping, and i'm actually not complaining because i don't have so much time to play right now, but my ping is usually around 150 and i have pretty horrible lag too - the kind i wouldn't think should reflect 150 ping.
