On XUO you guys had runes that changed color depending on the region they were marked in [guarded/unguarded] was wondering if this was going to be implemented here? Nifty little feature.

This thread belongs in the Suggestions & Ideas forum, but I do agree, it's a good idea.

It was enabled in the beginning, but I disabled them since I wanted it to be like Sphere. You should always name your runes so you know where they lead

Where did the fun in naming a rune Rare mustang location mark it at Brit bank, go out and die to a PK'er and later watching him die when he recalls into Brit bank.
In my oppinion runes should not be any collore depended on guardzones or not. It's up to the each player if they wanna risk recalling from a rune.

I forgot about this fact, yea it was fun naming runes 'HQ' and such and then kill them when they recalled into a trap ;/

Wow I completely forgot about trick runes... I no longer think that they should be colored apon marking them.... though if they were able to be dyed it would be a different story.
