Ive always seen EVs and BSs as more of a "sidekick" that you use when you can't easily defeat a monster / enemy that is 100% focused on you. Yes, they do do damage, but they should definately not be able to fight for you.

LOL? this blade spirits just cant exist by his own a simple orc can kill it. no point on have that speel if it isnt useful

I used to use blade spirits alot so I could hunt bigger monsters by myself. Id stand back and shoot whatever it was, while the monster fought the blade spirit. It would usually take several blade spirits to kill something, but it was fun and allowed me to gain money faster. I used to do the same thing with EVs and dragons, and I remember even with me doing at least half the damage, Id go through 2-3 EVs before the dragon fell.

at xuo u casted energy vortex spell on xtreme dragon and shoot it with a bow at the same time. 3-5 evs and the dragon was dead

GL killing a Xtreme Dragon with the actual EV. You need 4 EV's to kill a dragon(normal one), gl on need only one more to kill the xtreme dragon

Where the heck is the skill and fun in that kind of hunting.
On IN:R dragons and many other greater monsters dispeled summons upon the first attack.
So the only way to defeat them was working together 2 or 3 personsm with bows and spells. That was quite funny and a tad deadly if you did't knew what you were doing.

man we arent talking about killing dragons just an orc or a liche.
liche = 300 gps blade spirit dies in 10 seconds to 15 seconds to a liche it even take 5% of the life of a liche alone lol i dont want to kill the liche only with the blade spirit . i use to cover my life. but man its imposible at low level to kill a liche in 15 seconds ... 65% of sword

and yah i agree that 4-5 evs for a lousy dragon that gives 500 gp is a bit bad... on sphere i never even used regs Confused i had aids, a poison dagger and a ride.. that was all i needed to kill lunar/undine dragons. and the monsters on AM. cant remember the names of the monsters there.
