Okay so I had this kill me once because I didn't think I was resource gathering. Now I have been checking my screen every two minutes to make sure I don't die but I noticed something... My macro stops when this window opens. So basically I can just turn up my sound a little bit and be afk all day and only check it when I don't hear myself mining, lumberjacking, or fishing. Obviously that doesn't help the people going out or anything but I am sure alot of people are like me and setup macros while they do other things around the house.
Is there any way to make it popup without causing macros to timeout during this to prevent abuse?

Thats the whole idea Tabs... when your up and about around the house you are in fact Away From Keyboard....

I think he means that there are no penealety in afk ressource macroing since, the macro will just stop when the popup comes.
Meaning, you can just start your ressource macro, leave the computer, if the popup comes, the macro stops and he is safe since he can hear that the popup have come. No harm done, though he actely is afk.

Exactly. I can remain afk and still macro safely just by turning my speakers up loud enough to hear in other rooms. I can easily go afk for hours doing random daily tasks and not have to worry about it except when the sound stops. Then I just take my sweet time walking back to the comp and click the correct button and continue back to being afk.
Of course I realize this is a bit excessive in the ways of detail but it was merely a suggestion. The system does work fine and serves its purpose but there is always room for improvement (for anything and everything). :p

nah you guys do not udnerstand how the gump works!
you have 120secs to click the right button if you dont u DIE
if you press the wrong key YOU DIE.
so macroing afk as in at work or during night will end up with you being dead when u get home or wake up =)

I know how it works Odium:p , I have seen the gump like 40 times already. Honestly though a few times I was in fact afk when the gump popped up and by being able to hear (or not hear in this case) my macro sounds I was able to walk to this computer and click the correct button and continue doing whatever and being afk again.
Just want to make sure everyone understands what I am saying, its not like this can seriously be abused or anything.
Maybe it could play fake sounds of whatever you are macroing with an average delay for that skill in between the sounds.
lol, I complicate everything
maybe this was just to stop overnight macroing and I am looking to much into it though...

if your trying to make a script press teh right key im sure it will be almost impossible.
the gump change locations, change background, change amount of buttons, change place of the right button, changes spaces between buttons, changes spaces between the leatters (sideways and upd/downways) changes colour on the text and size.
everytime it has a totally new apperance and has the same amount of letters in each option.
im not saying its impossible but its hard, and i would not be able to crate a script that go around it

I just moved into a new appartment that needs to be paintet, but by turning up my speakers so i can hear my char mine or whater, i can mine all that i want while i am in the room that i have to paint now. All i got to do is when the gumps popsup and my char stops mining, is to walk into the room with my computer, click the gump and leaves my char mining again. I do call painintg another room for being afk and shouldent in my oppinion not be allowed accordingely to the rules.
The problem is this gump only stops peopel thats leaving there house or are sleeping, since they can always now if there char is mining because of the sound or if the gumps have appeared.
