I remember one day in IN the stones had a few skills gains for nickels, such as swords, tactics, poisoning, archery, mace fighting... etc, basically most combat skills. I forget the price of each little book but I think it was 10 nickels for a 10% increase.
Then they took them out? Anyone else remember this?
Thoughts?

Had to reformat my computer, so ill be away for a bit.
But I'm trying to redownload the files to connect to server, but my god is that dropbox or whatever it is site so damn slow.
Says it would take 12 hours, its been 6 hours and its not even half way finished downloading that 1 gig file lol.
Maybe find a better host for files I can't imagine its my internet connection who knows.

Odd, drop box downloads are typically fast. Perhaps its your internet provider?

I'm wondering when INR officially launches, what type of advertising, promotion, or other methods are being planned? Like the idea of social media, not many UO shards take this route. Ultimately, social media alone might not get the word out to the target audience. Any thoughts?

Hmm, I am on wireless, but I have no problem downloading from any where else, every time I tried this drop box thing, its just retardily slow, not to sure, maybe theres some settings i need to tweak, but either way, i got the files, no need to redownload them ever again hopefully lol.
Make a facebook and twitter account for INR?

Might as well just go Mass advertise on some other servers Webpage.
I think the problem is we are still using this forum and webpage.. which pretty much gives all the scripts away.. pretty much a deterrent right there to keep people from playing here, when they can just make their own server know what i mean jelly bean.
I would request taran or who ever to remove their account on the top 100 or whatever.. Probably confuses people.. and then just leads them to downloading the server scripts and thus forgetting about playing any real server, just a thought.

I don't think there'll be much of a problem with people starting up their own servers on a whim.
They'll either try to start one at their house and quickly run out of upload bandwidth or look at the monthly price of a dedicated server or 100mbit bandwidth upgrade and change their minds. The servers that stay up the longest and have the best development will be the ones that win out in the end.
