Elcid, here's my ping-attempts towards those servers you posted IPs for:
216.55.164.164 = 213ms
64.34.160.92 = 148ms
72.51.32.76 = 234ms
66.139.72.6 = 192ms
And XS4ALL = 36ms
I wish just everybody would have as good ping as I do towards XS4ALL, since it's free and all. I hope XS4ALL can fix it somehow, and if not then I hope you'll find another site where everybody has at least 100ms, because seriously, I believe the OTHER half of the shard (europeans) would think about quitting if THEIR ping went to 230ms like mine did just now towards all those sites you posted =/ So we've got to find one that works for everybody.. and that's hard.

P.S: I'd say half the shard is from Europe, and that means that there is just as big a reason to keep an european server as it is to move it to the US. So unless we find an server in the US that EVERYBODY pings pretty good to I'd say we might as well stay with an european one, hopefully one that everybody pings good to tho D.S

There is no place in the US to host our server where everyone would have around 100 ping, it's impossible. But like I said, we really should aim to find a low ping server for the europeans, cause everyone else will kind of get lower ping for free as soon as we move.

Ive only read half the thread, but Ill add that I just pinged the server again and average 118ms.
Again, Im from the U.S.
And I agree, I used to play on a 56k connection and it really wasn't that bad.

I got 126 average off that one Taran and im from sweden. xs4all gives 26 so i dont like this one obviously.
I can just say that i wont donate any money to get a worse connection then i do now, sorry.
