but. a goooood way to survive sometimes is to heal before ur oponent strikes sometimes, (if u got low mana maybe or u just drank a pot)

Fable has a very very valid point. When someone does that, wait about one sec, hit a light scroll and your light scroll will be there right after their heal. You can contiue doing so if they heal with spell, if they don't you can always try a fs. Even if you don't do anything, you'll stir your opponent up. If they don't handle PvP really really well, they'll get shaky and wont be able to tell up from down and it will make it harder for them to predict you. I'd claim that most good PvPers will also get a lil edgy if you do this.
Point is, for every good move, there is a good counter move.

I must say I didn't realize how deep XUO pvp is. I'm really excited for this now. Could someone clarify some somewhat simple things. Like can you bandage and magic heal at the same time? Will a bandage fizzle a spell? Will a potion fizzle a spell? What is the delay between drinking potions? Stuff like that which might seem obvious but newcomers would need to know first off.

Not able to heal and bandage at the same time.
A bandage is able to fizzle any spell, only not when a scroll get used. (Not sure)
A potion is possible to drink when using a spell (like heal pot + Gh)
I thought the delay between drinking pots is 12 seconds

You can't bandage and aid, what ever you did last will "fizzle" thing you were doing. Potions will not fizzle anything and the pot delay is 18 secs. n0x is making a "Begginers PvP Guide" where all of this, and a little more, will be included, that will help you to understand the basics of the PvP.

Do you guys use a lot of mana/gh pots (any other pots)? Cause then I'll get rich fast
:badgrin: Don't have to ask about scrolls cause I can tell you run around with like 50 of them all the time :pAnd since you need all those scrolls, how many scrolls will vendors sell? Everyone's gonna wait for that special world save and press their "buy all blanks macro". Or maybe they even will be craftable? *remember old IN1* :p

We are currently discussing fixing random spawn times and possibly even a gump so that people can't "autoharvest" reagents, seems this was a huge problem on IN. This is not at all decided yet, but we see that it might be a problem when we you have 80% of the shard macroing and looking for resources.
Vendors will have (yet again, not 100% decided) about 150-200 of each item (not ingots and such) and they will be killable, which means they will respawn when they spawn.

Another question. Will it be like we had it on IN:R where vendors restocked once every hour or will it be sphere-like and like every 20-30 minute? Correct me if I'm wrong cause my memory is terrible :p
