It almost seems like there's a problem with your connection. Try to do tracerts to other server and hosts in Europe and see what you get. The ping to almost all nodes seems very unreliable and it shouldn't be like that.

None said that the ping would go down anyway. The lagspikes should be gone, but none said that you would get a better overall ping. So some people will have a worse ping but the advantage is that your ping stays the same the whole time without packetloss.

btw luda, I don't know where you live. But that tracert isn't going through the US. Then you would be in the 200ms pings.

hey
basically u need to figure out 2 neighbour hops, one with low ping other with high. Then with services like getip.com or other figure out where are they located and ISPs names. Then you need to compose a message to the support and attach tracert. Dunno if it will work for every single person, but when i played WOW, and exprienced hard lags (300ms+ with loss 5%) on server which was located in Dusseldorf (where i should have had like 40-50ms ping) it really helped.
Dont forget that if u live in Australia or US u wont have better then 170ms. Asia (KOR, China, etc) ppl prolly wont have better then 200ms - this is due to the fact that their traffic doesnt go through Russia which is the shortest way, but goes around, sometimes even through US :-)
