Hm I tested checks and I couldn't steal them from another mobile. I think the tag differs if its in a container but I'm not 100% sure.

sam could steal both checks and deeds from my pack. without me noticing, i believe he is with 85 stealing...

riiighttttt...... And im an alien from an unknown planet.I mean look at all the safety procedures done to a new skill. Ul die if your in town like probably every time you try to steal one item. and the item goes BACK to the owner.
I mean cmon.... seriously? And its not just this too its many things..

but yea stealing is kinda lame, u have a GREAT chance of turning crim (100 snoop, 90+ stealth, 100 hiding, 85 stealing). Dieing and the item goes back to the owner, cannot steal while hiding, can only steal like 2 mana pots outta 50 or like someone mentioned 50gp when someone has tons of gold on em.
I mean wuts the point in even using the skill then...
hell this is why me and smoke kill ppl instead lol

Anyways, I prefer that everything is stealable but I just didn't think checks were as I did try to steal one from a mobile and couldn't. If you guys think stealing is underpowered then you just aren't using it to its fullest:p

well i sit in pits considering everytime i try to cut someone i get killed for an autocut script so theres no point in ganking for me atm
also if you hide/stealth you get reaveled when openning a players pack and theres a delay to steal items so it really is hard enough to steal something without someone moving..

What does sitting in pits have anything to do with the fact that this IS in fact a carebear server?
I sit in pits cause theres nothing to do. Whenever there is someone ganking or dueling anything pvp i go..

Well its a complete safety zone, a carebear zone if you will. I just figured if someone was anti-carebear then they would not like the pits as it is in fact a carebear feature :p
