Hmm, i see why you guys got rid of spell damage variation, but it seems like you could have made it a range of like 3 or 5 damage, instead of 10...the right decision seems so calculable this way, but maybe that's a good thing.
Anyways, i'm not complaining, it could be totally cool i just haven't tried it yet.

Yeah it is totally cool from a point of view of somebody who has tried it for many years, you'll see :] Even tho we've played it for years it's still close to impossible to calculate a victory. However you can calculate strategies in which you'll know that if you get the oponent to do all these flaws at the right time, and get the exactly right hit etc etc, then you can use your super-combo-attack and win, hopefully. But it's still not like the first guy getting the real hard hit wins, its all about the feeling and waiting for the right time to strike, plus surviving the oponents attempts to strike you and still have mana to strike back, its real fun, you'll see :] Best PvP I've ever played. :]

pande, u may not be the best at pvp.. but ur the best when holding a tour cause u act mature/professional

Yeah, not like the other staffmembers like GM Hate and the others who just run around [kill:ing everybody and calling them noobzz while hosting tourneys

well cole, if it's any consolation, i wasn't exactly good at pvp, but i was able to survive against the average xuoer for a little bit when i had dial up. normally it resulted in me dieing though... actually i think it always did haha. but i put up a bit of a fight. im sure nobody will instantly die.
im sure we can have a little pvp school in the first few months. hate ran that for a few times on xuo
