It's enabled right now, but I doubt it will be. I just added it so that I could find the anims I was looking for:/

It would be better if it went something like this:
a: I dont like you
b: I dont like you either, so shut up!
a: Make me!
b: ok that's it, I'll kill you!
a: duel gear?
b: fine
duel over
a: god damn, I want a rematch
b: no way!
a: duel all your money? (since account-trading is illegal)
b: ok!
duel over
a: Have fun!

It is a lot easier to get someone really really pissed if you are ignorant and incoherent and I'm quite sure it will always be. If you taunt someone, and they try to come back at you, and you do not seem to get offended by it (or not understand what they are saying), they will get so frustrated and take you for a moron. It is about at that time they accept the gear duel:p

They might not hurt someone, but all new players will come and see this and think "Wow, this server is really immature" and quit. Sure you can taunt, but you don't have to use words like "noob, ****, stfu" etc.
And if you did that to someone that tried to roleplay you would probably get jailed. Or at least warned.

Yeah I'm sorry to say you're going to need to learn to be a little more civilized in your taunting.
For example:
A: Hey B, I murdered your loverboy guildmate, is that how everyone in your guild fights?
B: He made a mistake, I won't do the same.
A: Right, hiding behind hollow words.
B: You're not worth my time.
A: I'm sensing fear and you're scared to put up your duel gear.
B: Fine, let me squash you right here.
I'll admit it's harder than saying "Noob" but does calling someone a noob really still work after all these years? It might be a little more work, but I don't think "stfu wanker" is going to fly on IN:X. At least I hope not cause I agree it'll chase away new players real quick.

taran, it's not exactly account trading, its more like... account takeover
and it wasn't illegal on XUO, it just didn't happen very often. plus its hard to "duel for all your money" because one guy could just say ok i have 1k, you?
skorpion, you're a smart guy, but i really don't think people are gonna talk like that. it's a little too RPish for XUO players. i've never seen anyone say ANYTHING like that. it's more like
a: your guild is a bunch of noobs, not worth my time...
b: screw you ill kill you now
and this is funny to watch
i think new people to INX will see the many sides it has to offer;
the rp people
the im-gonna-kill-you people
the inbetween people
then they will decide where they fit in and who they are friends with. if i hated (which i don't) nox and hate, then i'd avoid them and play with my partner. it's as simple as that. if people aren't smart enough to do this... they need help.

Sadly I agree, I knew I was being very idealistic when I wrote that, it was more cause I was bored at work and wanted to see if I could actually write a decent taunt without talking leet. It didn't really turn out as well as I thought it would.

How do you intend to encourage RP when that sort of behaviour is accepted? *edit* IF it wil be accepted, the rules kinda indicate that it wont *edit*
If anyone came onto me calling me noob and whatnot id be incliened to report it as harassment rather than fight him.
If however someone came on to me without using leet speak or slang i might be interrested in defending myself.
