Items move on death - Eighty Swords - 04-19-2009

I'm confused in this thread too... Here's a restart/recap:

Eighty Swords: Can we have it so items (including equipped clothes) stay in place after dieing and getting revived.
Malik: It's got a low level priority right now
Taran: On sphere this was only for noobied items
Eighty Swords: OK so can we do it for all noobied items (including equipped noobied clothes) when there's time

End of thread Big Grin

I separate them so when one goes off topic, or turns into a flame war, or gets confusing (like this one) all suggestions aren't ruined/locked.

lets do a better recap,

Eighty Swords: Can we have it so items (including equipped clothes) stay in place after dieing and getting revived.
Malik: It's got a low level priority right now
Taran: On sphere this was only for noobied items stayed everything else got moved around.
odium: newbied equipped clothes have always been moved to backpack after dying else they would show on the corpse. non newbied cloths already stay equipped when ressurected.

---

What i think taran meant is that only newbied items stay in place is example the spellbook, and other newbied items you already have in yourbackpack. And i think they already stay on the same place while ressurected.

Want to come kill me ingame and then revive with aids or spell (not refresh) to try it out?

Odium was it also like that with noobied clothes on XUO? I don't remember 100% but I think noobied clothes stayed equipped after getting revived.

im pretty sure they didnt. But as i never owned any rr clothes im not sure. As the only clothes u see in the corps are non newbied ones.

and then i would liek to know if i havea newboed robe die it dont appear on the corps but will be on me when i ressurect. a player then drop another robe in my corpse (it will show on the body) and i get ressurected will i then carry two robes? ;P

Why do you have to make it complicated? :p

If coded properly this won't happen haha. My guess is to set a previously equipped property on items so only one item (that being the right one) is re-equipped after getting revived.

Besides, who will put clothes back in a body? lol

Did ya ever notice that if you die a lot, the res robes start to stack up into one robe on your body? Then when you drop them they go back to being one robe? Smile No point, just thought it was interesting. It's probably an anti-litter script.

Nice quote! lol

Yea I found that weird that sometimes I would click it and it would say a lot of robes... but not always haha

What a surprise for me when I was in the free pvp area and all of a sudden i got like 30 equipment statues lol.
