Wouldn't it be pointless to start a shard up, spend hundred of hours of work on it, and then not try to get done with it?
I'm sure everyone is doing their best and I'm sure that it will be as we have promised that it would.

I've already stated several times that we are indeed working on the shard and fixing bugs as we speak. But the problem is still the account transfers.

I really don't understand why people keep saying this. It goes without saying that if a dev team misses their launch date, it's not a "good" thing. Continuing to take longer than expected is no different. Still, so many people point out (almost under the guise of advice) that the staff is hurting the playerbase by doing what they're doing. Surely what would hurt the playerbase more is putting up a half-finished mediocre shard?

i agree with what you said but the server is hurt to the point that 3/4 of the playerbase has left and i dont know if they plan on going back or not. For me UO is done for and has been for the longest time. I have not played UO for a while i just come by here and see what the progress is. I am much to busy to play games on the computer now. I have gotten a great job and just trying to fix relationships that i have messed up. If I had time than maybe I would come back and see whats up with the server and people I played with. I first plan on buying a better computer. I crashed my computer a long time ago and just have not had the time nor the money to buy a new one. even though i have a great job but i was in debt. Back to the server. inorder to get people in the mood to play a server put it up every once in a while and show people the updates that you have made so they can see first hand. I know it is a suspense to see what the final server is going to be but people like to just mess around and "PK" each other. and just mess around. That is what XUO was about atleast. I guess when the server gets up just enjoy and try and get the playerbase back.
