You're admitting that you guys afk'd the slot machines? you should be punished on the spot honestly. Just because someone did something illegal does not mean you are entitled to do that as well, jesus.

It is pretty clear to me that afk is allowed in those machines as soon as you gamble!
There's no rule under the rules section of the site about it too... so as far as it's not forbidden its allowed i gues...
About the jackpot reseting... if taran said it would not reset then it shouldnt!
If it was reseted due to a bug i think the money should be put back...
But hey, thats my opnion only...

The rule of not to afk on the machine when your not playing completely makes no sense at all because after a certain amount of time by default if someone clicks the machine they automatically kick you off.

Regardless of whether or not you agree with afk macroing the slots why on earth were you paging gms that people were doing something that is allowed? You don't think it should be allowed, fine, but can't you see gms have better things to do with their time than deal with than stuff like that? If you want it changed post in the forums. Sense of entitlement by the more vocal players on this shard is amazing.
EDIT: Clarified a bit.
Also there were plenty of times people other than RIP got onto the machine, I saw Stark on it a couple of times, I got it just about whenever I rocked up it's not like their afk macroing of the slot prevented anyone else from ever having a chance at that 6-8mil. Before you make ridiculous exaggerations please at least get the facts correct.

exaggeration? brett and goffy were on the machine for a week straight at one point and that's not exaggeration at all while one hunted the other afk'd on the machine and put in coins once every 5-10 mins. I did page and echo told me to request a change on the forums that's when that rule got implanted but really it did nothing because they created a rule that already had a fix by the machines it self. What they did was mistaken the wording on the sign because I can't imagine that allowing people to keep a machine all to them selves especially for days would be legal at any point in time.
